My Grandad Ron as some would call him.
Sadly was taken away from us on 28th January 2001, Ronald was a father to 2 daughters, Annette and Pauline a Grandfather to Simon, Claire, Paul and Emma, Sadly he didnt get to meet his great grandchildren, Emily-Jade, Katie, Scarlet and Hirah.
He was Married to Margorie they married on 4th August 1956
He worked as an Electrician for Ashwell Nesbitts then went to work for Schlegels in the factory but had enough of that and went back to Ashwell Nesbitts but was later known as Ashwell Scotts Ltd. He was a boiler fitter,
He has a sister Betty Layton who was married to the late Burt Layton. Mother was Daisy Bowers father William Bowers,
They was both members of the North Leeds Club where they went every weekend with the girls.
He loved going to Great Yarmouth with Margorie for a holiday walking along the sea front. He loved to spend time at his pond that he built with his coy fish in.

thinking of you this moment in time.and how nothing is quite the same.because theres only heatache now.and sadly,no nice gifts for you just silent tears.at this time of year without you is the hardest time of all.because the pain of losing you just seems to linger still.for looking back over the years the best times we had was down to that special man and that was you DAD.x

you were the one id turn to in trouble or in strife, whenever i needed something sorting in my life,you would have had a go at me and it turned into a row, but still you solved the problem as only you new how,your opinion was important be it good or bad ,i new it was for my good you cared cause your my dad love you dad xxxpaulinexxx
HE IS GONE
I can shed tears that he is gone,or i can smile because he has lived.I can close my eyes and pray that he"ll come back or i can open my eyes and see all he"s left.my heart can be empty because i cart see him or it can be full of love we shared.I can turn my back on tomorrow and live yesterday or i can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.I can remember him and only that he"s gone or i can cherish his memory and let it live on.I can cry and close my mind,be empty and turn my back or i can do what he"d want: smile,open my eyes,love and go on.xxxxpaulinexxxx
high dad.remember that foto well.those were the days.we had some great times,like the time we all went to flambrough head and scraped up for a bottle of coke and five straws.how we laughed.but all we have s memories and fotos now.they were the good days.but now you have mam with you.looking after each other once again.i miss you both so much its unreal.you were both loving and giving no matter what.if only you had been here to see your great grandchildren growing up,but it wasnt to be.still cant understand why but you had your reasons.love you with all my heart.love you from flower number 1.xx annette xxx

I MISS YOU MUM & DAD.i miss you both so very much,you were the best friends that i had,i`ll never quite get used to life without my mum & dad. you loved me unconditionally, and gave me all you could,when you were with me life was full and time were always good.but at least you are together and this thought makes me glad, but it dont stop me missing MY LOVELY MUM AND DAD XXxx

god i miss you the talks we sheared a lot of time as past with anger in my heart at what you did but when mam had to leave us that day i asked for you not to let her suffer and take her i no you was there and you did what i asked thats when i forgave you i smell you i see you but i wish i could hold you dont stop the visits dad in my dreams thay mean so much to me xxxpaulinexx
